hills generates 3D-printable models of parts of the Earth's surface.

It uses as input the SRTM 90m elevation data from CGIAR-CSI, which is downloadable free of charge. It outputs binary STL.

Instructions are in the README. To install the newest version you'll need GHC 7.10 or better (get it here), then install with cabal install hills. (Or Stack works too.)
